Description
It is two steps up from a level parking area through the front door into our most luxurious cabin - Cubs in the Treetops! You will be awed by the natural wood walls and ceilings throughout this recently constructed log cabin in Phase 2 of the Mountain Shadows Resort Log Home Community. GREAT ROOM Upon entering you'll step into a large great room with spacious living, kitchen and dining areas. Looking up at the cathedral ceilings from either side gives you a diamond shaped view of the exterior hillsides. KITCHEN The kitchen features all stainless appliances with the meal prep utensils you need to prepare a variety of meals. The range features a natural gas stovetop for the best cooking experience as well as a gas oven for baking. Directly across from the range is an island with granite counter top and sink. Owners Pat and Ruthie have taken the utmost care in stocking the kitchen with many essentials including cookware, countertop appliances, silverware, cutlery, utensils and dishes to make for a most pleasant cooking dining experience in your cabin. TV AND ENTERTAINMENT A large flat-screen Smart TV sits atop the mountain stone gas log fireplace. Spectrum cable and high-speed internet service are available. WASHER AND DRYER There is a closet in the kitchen with a washer and dryer for your convenience. BEDROOMS On either side of the great room are bedrooms that are entered through beautifully custom crafted sliding barn doors. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV, a king-size bed, a chest of drawers, a closet and a private bathroom, one with a stand-up shower and the other with a combination tub & shower. COVERED PORCH From the living area step out onto an expansive covered porch with large outdoor hot tub, relaxing rocking chairs and a high quality gas grill. There is so much to enjoy in Cubs in the Treetops. Relax and enjoy when the oohing and aahing are over!

Positive: Everything was excellent especially the hot tub

Headline: Very relaxing Positive: Very comfortable, cute cabin Negative: Only issue was that the dryer did not work. Would let it do a full cycle and it was still not dry deck. Also pool by our cabin was out of order but the hot tub was amazing.

Headline: Sandy's 1st family vacation Positive: The cabin was beautiful,spacious, and very well stocked with all the supplies needed for our stay. Even got to enjoy the 1 hr mid-day rain shower on the porch in the rocking chairs. Our cabin was just right for me as I have much difficulty walking. Negative: The only issue we had was getting the grill to turn on due to the striker not working. Once we got it going though; IT WAS ON LIKE DONKEY KONG! 😀 Made yummy ribs one night and ribeyes another.

Headline: The location, wildlife and scenery makes this cabin worth the stay. Positive: The location was excellent. Downtown is close but away from the traffic. Negative: The vaunted ceilings and barn doors on the bedroom afforded more noise travel in the home.
